use AquaSeche on all walls previously treated with the water
repellent?

may be able to but you need to test a patch with water
first. If the water soaks in you can use AquaSeche.
- How
much will AquaSeche cover?
- Up to
120 m2 per pack (7.5 litres) - sprayed on. You will use
more if brushing or rollering.
- Why is
AquaSeche better than other water repellents?

AquaSeche not only waterproofs but also removes the
moisture from the surface. Other products do not do this
and they can only be applied to dry surfaces.
- Can I

- How
long will AquaSeche last?
- How
long before I can paint or wallpaper over AquaSeche?

2 to 3 hours depending upon the temperature

AquaSeche trap water in the walls?
- No,
AquaSeche is microporous so the walls can "breathe" out
the water vapour.
- Why
spray AquaSeche - can I brush it on?
- Yes
but you will use more.
- What
precautions must I take when using AquaSeche?
- Do
not expose to naked flames or smoke whilst using. If using
indoors, good ventilation is essential. It is recommended
that a facemask and goggles are used. Protective gloves
are advisable. Keep AquaSeche away from children and pets.
Cured material is not hazardous.
- Will it
change the colour of my stonework or bricks?
-
Depending upon the original colour and porosity of the
surfaces, some darkening will be observed. Colour of
stonework will be enhanced.
- Is it
best to treat the outside or the inside walls?
- Using
AquaSeche indoors is often completely successful however
if treating small areas, the damp may simply move along
the wall and appear elsewhere. For complete, long-lasting
protection it is best to treat the outside. Normally only
the South and West facing walls will need treatment as
this is the direction of most wind-driven rain.
- What
are the best weather conditions to apply AquaSeche?
- Warm,
dry weather is obviously best however you should aim to
apply
when the temperature is
above 5o C and rain is not expected.
